The Foundry Cast-Iron Table is the classic pub table, built for contract use. A rectangular dark top framed in a warm timber band sits on two black cast-iron pedestals, each with a turned column and four scrolled feet.
Cast iron's weight is its advantage in a busy bar: the mass sits at floor level, so the table stays put when guests lean, jostle and bump it, and it doesn't creep across the floor over a night of service. Two pedestals under a 48 in top keep the ends level and leave the middle open for knees.
The dark, fine-textured surface hides beer rings and fingerprints. It is supplied in sintered stone for maximum resistance to spills and heat, or high-pressure laminate where weight and budget matter more; the solid timber band protects the edge either way.
This table suits traditional pubs, gastropubs and taprooms in older buildings where cast iron and dark wood feel at home. Because it is heavy, it's best in fixed layouts along walls and windows. The iron is powder coated and the feet carry glides.
